Art Exchange of Alpswissart Art Direction by Barbara Streiff on Newsletter of Ocpa/Unesco Paris 05 / Digital Sound zum Video "fluorescence art installation primal geometry" von Peter Ziegelmeier Ceibarec San Francisco.
Auf dem Weg der Linth entlang vom Bahnhof Näfels zum Flughafen Mollis steht bei der 2ten Brücke das alte Fabrikgebäude der ehemaligen Spinnerei Mollis. Hier im Dachstock hat sich Barbara Streiff mit Ausstellungen im Kunstaustausch seit 2004 eingenistet.
Nach dem Treppenaufgang gleich um die Ecke bei der Eingangstür zum Atelier, welches wahre 800m2 aufweist, ist eine Installation zum Thema aus dem Rahmen fallen.
In einer speziellen Anordnung, welche wie bei allen interaktiven Installationen verändert werden darf, stehen da die Rahmen ohne Bilder in einem geordneten Durcheinander.
Der Blick ins Atelier führt nahezu in die Unendlichkeit. Doch die kommunikative Installation mit Interaktion in Fluorescence hat Kunstschaffende aus aller Welt angesprochen, welche bereit waren ein Werk speziell für diesen Ort zu schaffen.
Die Glarner Künstlerin Barbara Streiff ist mit der Digitalumsetzung des Projektes im Kunstaustausch zu Experimente in UV Licht an ein Hochschulprojekt Europas aufgenommen worden.
Interaktive Installation heisst, dass Jedermann, Frau und Kind zu einem kreativen Input in der Auseinandersetzung mit Schwarzlicht Experimenten, oder sei es nur auf das Monumentalwerk Kirche Spinoza von Art Clay über die Würfel hoch an die Decke zu klettern, oder wie Moritz darauf sitzend ein Rap zu singen. Die Kirche, geschaffen von Urs Jaeggi, Basel und Art Clay NYC und CH, Artdirektor Digitalartweek 07, eine über 3 Meter hohe Monumentalskulptur aus Würfeln, bemalt in Symbolen, kann bestiegen und besitzt werden. Darauf befindet sich Objektart zum Thema Religionen von Barbara Streiff. Neben hochqualifiziertem & professionellem Kunstschaffen steht gleichwertig das begehbare Spiegellabyrinth mit einer Installation von Zeichnungen, Bildern und Objekten am Ort der Ausstellung von Kindern geschaffen, welches bei einem Durchgang aufzeigt, dass hier etwas in Bewegung ist.

Ricardo Streiff is a multi disciplinary artist born in Buenos Aires in 1961 in an italian family. Since 1982, as an actor, he has taken part of many avant garde theater projects and performances in Buenos Aires City. He was just one of the first artist to perform in the streets, still under the military government. At the age of 24, he got involved in American Chamanism practices. He wrote, produced and directed several humor plays for theatre too. During the last years, he worked as a script writer for television, internet Web pages and then as a content producer for cell phone products. Sometimes he still gets on the stage to make his amusing stand up comedy routines....Actually he leads the Eyectados del Infierno Project.

Isolation of the Dada-Gene
In what observers call “a historic scientific break-through,” the well-known New York artist Rudy Ernst was recently able to isolate the long suspected Dada-Gene, known to be responsible for the creativity in the human body. During a New York press conference last Friday, Ernst presented his scientific findings to the broader public for the first time.
Ernst is no newcomer to the field of genetic engineering. Back in 2004 he attracted the attention of the scientific community with his film “The North American Lobster Pine.” The documentary demonstrates how Maine lobsters have recently been fully-grown on maritime pine trees and can be seen on Youtube.
The US republican Senator from Maine, Karen M. Cruster, praised Ernst’s entrepreneurial achievements in Washington as “a significant contribution to the economic development of our State.”
Dr. Ueli Siracher of the IBM research laboratory in Rubikon / Switzerland was somehow less enthusiastic about Ernst’s recent isolation of the Dada-Gene. Dr. Michael Greenberg of the New England Medical Journal also cautioned that more scientific studies might be necessary to affirm the existence of the Dada-Gene. A preliminary evaluation proved to be encouraging enough, though, to warrant an article soon to be published on the subject. Professor Alain Didier of the French Louis Pastor Institute in Paris refused to take a definitive position. “It is premature,” he said, “to make a final scientific assessment at this point in time.” However, Didier seemed to agree that, if confirmed, the discovery of the Dada-Gene could prove to be an important scientific break-through in the field of genetic engineering.
Ernst is currently writing a book on “The Dada-Gene,” for which the well-known international ‘Kreatus Publishing House’ is rumored to have offered a down payment of four million dollars. According to reliable sources, Ernst is currently evaluating the offer.

At the back of the big hall was a chill out space with designer pillows and two working versions of Gysin's and Sommerville's Dream Machine, while just upstairs were the crawling, drawing spiders of Lars Vaupel set in an backlight environment by Barbara Streiff.
Digital Art Weeks Die DAW entwickelten sich 2004 aus einer interdisziplinären Forschungsarbeit am Insti-tut für Computersysteme der ETH Zürich. Im Jahr 2007 werden die DAW erstmals von einem externen Steering Commitee mit Institutionen wie dem Bundesamt für Kultur, der Stadt Zürich, dem Cabaret Voltaire, der Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zürich (HGKZ) oder der Universität Zürich unterstützt.

Gesellschaftskritiker: "Wissenschaft und Technologie sind nicht wertfrei, sondern übernehmen die Werte der Gesellschaft, aus der sie entstehen. Kranke Gesellschaften produzieren kranke Ideen und die dazugehörigen Geräte." DAW im öffentlichen Raum

Kultureller Austausch mit Kunstschaffenden aus aller Welt mit Bildern von Menschen für die visuelles Gestalten realer Alltag ist. Mit über 100 Werken, welche ich bei der Zusammenarbeit, im kulturellen Austausch bei verschiedenen Ausstellungen und Besuchen von Kunstschaffenden erhalten habe,
All die verschiedenen Malstile und Techniken zeigen die Vielfalt des Gestaltens auf und wirken auf den Betrachter anregend. Auf die Kunstschule bezogen, welche in der Vernetzung der Kunst Hochschule Zürich im gestalterischen Unterricht für Kinder und Jugendliche angeschlossen ist, lernen die Menschen, welche den kulturellen Ort besuchen eine Einsicht in den gestalterischen Unterricht zu gewinnen. Bei soviel Originalität auf eigene Art und Weise zu arbeiten, lernen die Menschen spielerisch Ihre eigene Vorstellung zu entwickeln.
